Renfrew is situated just north of trendy Bridgeland and well within walking distance to a huge variety of shops, amenities, and restaurants along Edmonton Trail, 16th Ave, and in Bridgeland to the South.

Long favoured by families, Renfrew is a very quiet community full of tree-lined streets and park space. With multiple schools, sports fields, parks, a community centre with ice rink, as well as the community pool, there is little need to venture outside the area! Young families especially enjoy the Calgary Zoo and Telus Spark Science Centre just a few mins away.

Many residents of Renfrew especially enjoy the proximity to Downtown, which is an easy bike ride or walk away. Quick access around the city is found via Edmonton Trail, 16 Avenue North and Deerfoot Trail. Multiple transit routes including the LRT are within walking distance.

Renfrew was established in 1950, but in recent years has seen a flurry of infill development, giving the area a new, fresh look. As older war-era homes give way to new modern homes and townhomes, the area is quickly growing in popularity with young professionals looking for a new home.

Renfrew is currently very affordable compared to other inner-city neighbourhoods where infills have become very popular, although values are on the rise as development takes hold. Property values are expected to increase as time goes on, making Renfrew a very desirable option close to the downtown core.
