Ramsay was one of Calgary’s first neighbourhoods and has the advantage of being located very close to downtown. The older nature of the small community just east of the core has made it a great candidate for the development of new infills.
The Bow River and its pathways are only a short walk away, as are the newly developed East Village and the ever-trendy and popular Inglewood, home to some of the city’s most unique shops, restaurants, businesses, and entertainment establishments. The community will also benefit from the development of the Green Line LRT to South East Calgary and the construction of the Inglewood/Ramsay station in the future, which is likely to increase property values in the Ramsay area further. And of course, every July Ramsay residents can enjoy for free the fabulous Calgary Stampede firework display from Scotsman’s Hill, which overlooks the Stampede Grounds.
